The Trinity Columbarium

The Columbarium - from the Chapel floor looking up

The Columbarium offers the Trinity member the opportunity to have their entire life's spiritual journey, from birth and baptism through death and interment, in the embrace of their faith community.

Trinity’s Columbarium is located in the balcony of the Chapel of the Resurrection. It was dedicated by Bishop Benoni Ogwal- Abwang on Sunday, November 18, 1991.

The Columbarium is for all present parishioners as well as past parishioners who have moved away and wish to be buried at Trinity.

The cost of each niche is absolutely minimal. One niche may be purchased for $325.00 or two niches for $500.00. This includes the copper cylinder and brass name plate.

The Columbarium was custom designed by an architect to maintain the architectural integrity of our historic Chapel. A group of parishioners from Trinity brought the construction of the Columbarium to a successful conclusion. A beautiful oak pall and accompanying table were constructed to be used for those whose ashes will reside in the Columbarium. A simple gold cross was designed and painted on either side of the pall.

Ninety-six niches in two units make up the columbarium. This may be expanded as need arises in the future. A copper tube in which ashes are interred fits securely in each niche. Once ashes are interred, the niche is locked and sealed, and an engraved brass nameplate is attached to the front of the niche.

Inquiries concerning the purchase of a niche or niches may be made through the church office
